Election 2025

Nominations are officially closed and the 2025 Municipal Candidates are:

  • Hazel Reintjes
  • Len Rimmer
  • Frank Armella

Section 34(1) of the Local Authorities Election Act states that: “If, 24 hours after the close of nominations, the number of candidates for an office is equal to the number of offices for which the election is held, the returning officer shall declare each of the candidates to be elected to the office for which they were nominated.”
